Lisa from The Lunch Box Project drew my cupcake for an upcoming project!  I am so honored she chose my cupcake, as I was quite proud of my first original creation.  Click here for my original blog post for the cupcake I entered into the Mystery Box Cupcake Challenge!  Check out the posting at http://lunchboxproject.blogspot.com/2010/12/kiwi-lime-grapefruit-cupcakes.html!

Buy a print of my cupcake if you think it's as cute as I do!  Or keep your eye on The Lunch Box Project for the final product!

Thanks, Lisa!  The drawing is BEAUTIFUL!

I occasionally get together with my friend Melissa to get our cupcake on.  We each pick or drum up a fancy schmancy cupcake creation, lug the ingredients (and stand mixers!) to the kitchen-of-choice, and get to baking!  It is so much fun.  Here is my latest creation.  Boy, were these delicious.  It was my first crack at a filled cupcake.  (I must admit, I did not MAKE the filling...perhaps next time!  I do have my eye on a recipe that involves homemade lime curd inside the cupcakes...  If I'm going to step it up each time, might as well do it up right, I suppose!)  More baked goods to come, but for now enjoy (and drool over) these shots I took of the batch's last cupcake standing.  It, sadly, did not last much longer after I put my camera down...but it was a good little model while it lasted. :o) I'll post the recipe later!
